About me

In class

My name is Carmen, and I’m from Andalusia, Spain.

I have always known that teaching is my vocation. I am bilingual and started learning other languages when I was just three years old. I am a qualified teacher, and I have developed a deep understanding of bilingualism through my own experience, which I have further explored through master’s degrees and professional training.

I have been working professionally in education since 2008, and I have never stopped learning, training and experimenting with new approaches. I have taught preschool students, worked as a primary school tutor, worked as a bilingual education specialist in secondary education, and served as an academic coordinator.

I currently train teachers from across Europe in teaching methodologies through Erasmus+ programmes. I am also a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education and Language Schools, where I teach future teachers about student development and learning.

Thanks to all these experiences with learners of different ages and nationalities, I understand the importance of cultural differences, the different stages of each person’s learning journey, and the social factors that influence them. This allows me to make your learning experience personalised, engaging and genuinely interesting.

You’re in good hands! Shall we get started?
